Our European Balloon Adventure began on May 24 with our arrival in Esbjerg, Denmark. It ended on June 4 with our final flight and farewell dinner in Bern, Switzerland.
On each of these days, Europe observed holidays, celebrating an ascent on the first day and a descent on the final day.

Ascension
