I know that I said I'd hold off on any more Athenee Residence shots but since our inspection is scheduled for this Friday I want to post these latest photos. The building is done; all that is needed is some landscaping and border work.

Guess what this is all about.

No one guessed at yesterday's puzzle. OK, from the scrimpy hint that I gave it is no wonder that it was a big ????? for anyone who might have been looking at the page.

Yesterday was the beginning of the year of the Rat in the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Chinese believe that it is a time to honor their ancestors by sending them gifts. They believe that they can do this by making and/or buying cars, televisions, houses, etc., all made from paper and in miniature. These are then burned in a can, and the smoke carries the objects to the deceased ancestors.

Hey, don't laugh! There are still people in the West who believe that the Sun and the stars revolve around the Earth. That Noah built a big boat that carried two of every living thing, including polar bears, camels, elephants and germs. That the son of God slipped down the one-way birth canal of a desert nomad. And, that is before even getting to the Middle East!

PS: Reader Morton from England asks about Noah's duos:

What about pubic lice and Penguins?

PPS: Lamont writes:

And, Noah marched M/F vaginal wart viruses into his boat?

Next: Part II
