After Part I

Today was the first time that we have had a chance to have lunch with Stephani since we arrived in Florida. We chose a place that was new to all three of us: the St. Regis Hotel on the Fort Lauderdale beach. Watcharee thinks this is the very best place in Fort Lauderdale for lunch; at least among the relatively few places that we have sampled. But, I agree. It is excellent.

Stephani and Watcharee started off by sharing a flat bread with goat cheese, walnuts and greens. My first course was a plate of fresh oysters seasoned with diced watermelon and lime sauce.

For the main course Watcharee and Stephani had sea bass. I went for the seared tuna.

We had water with both courses.

We passed on the desserts.

No one had coffee or tea.

I used a toothpick at the end.

After the girls drifted off to the loo I aimed my camera this way and that way.

My friend, Thaichili, sent these photos from Bangkok.

Dear Corkscrew,

Today on our way to Kimberly's Aunties house, I spotted this very familiar building from the express way. As the car moving and only split seconds for me to take camera out of my bag, I snapped these pictures thought these might look interesting to you from where it was seen.

With humidity and high heat, we mostly stay in door, next to fan or air conditioning or by the pool. It took a week or so for Barry and Kimberly to adjust to the Bangkok heat. What convince them to step out side is Swesen's ICE CREAM!!

Kanda

P.S. raw oyster is so good serving cold, but with Cheerios .... aeeewwww.. Try it with Pringles may be :)

Though THOCBDC looked for Spring Break chicks, it found slim pickings. But, it did find a new obsession.

No, I have not divorced myself from corkscrews. I still have a number of corkscrews mounted on the wall. Though I sold the bulk of my free standing collection on e-Bay I kept a few dozen loose pieces and a half dozen or so 'framed pieces'.

For you Foodies out there I have also included a snap of a California Pizza.

An antique lock collection or a kinky kitchen?

PS: From Suz:

As you may have heard, the Bush Administration said every one of us would now get a nice rebate.

We need to keep that money at home to strengthen our economy here, so the best way to spend it is for prostitutes and beer, the only truly functional businesses still in the US.

My name is Elliot Spitzer and I approved this ad ...

Early this morning I drove our car to and from our houses exclusively using the MB's infrared viewing screen. Though it is monochromatic the view is far crisper than that seen through the windscreen.

Bangkok lures when we find Boston Market on our table.

But, sitting on the dock is not half bad!
