Watcharee's case as to why she should have the big closet: 20 versus 3.
PS: Yesterday I saw my first stretch tuk tuk.
PPS: Obama made the covers of the four big weeklies.
PPPS: Meanwhile the packing continues ... with me doing very little of it. But, I am 'recording' the progress.
Loi Krathong is on the full moon night of the 12th lunar month. It starts the period of time between the end of the ploughing and planting season for rice and the start of the harvesting season. It signals in a period of relative rest.
Here in Bangkok it is celebrated with fireworks and by releasing floating Krathongs on the river of Kings.
As River Garden is on a major soi leading directly to the river lots of Krathongs are positioned for sale on or near our front door. Though the management of River Garden has extended an invitation to all its tenants we are going to watch it from our apartment.
The first and the largest batch of free standing furniture was delivered to our condo yesterday.
Here are the entrance foyer, dining room, entertainment room and the living room pieces.
PS: Here are some of the pieces for the master bedroom, Watcharee's office and my office.
PPS: Here is another view of the foyer taken from the far end of the living room. On the left, between the standing cases, is the entertainment room entrance. On the right, the dining room entrance.
PPPS: The guest bedroom.
Lined up and ready to go.
But, we may delay actually sleeping there for a few more days due to some last minute changes.
Seven sinks, six toilets, five showers and one big bathtub (jacuzzi).
The master bedroom commands the most with its two matching sinks, a jacuzzi and a large walk-in shower. But, the poor maid has her toilet, shower and sink all in one small spot; but, the advantage is that she can do all three things at one time. Lucky her!
Bare walls at River Garden.
Until I get my computer hooked up at Athenee Residence I'll be on a break from blogging.
THOCBDC is on the move. It will be back on the air soon.
A new office opens.
Instead of the Shangri-La's NEXT2 being next door I now have the Plaza Athenee next door.
Next: Part III
