Lately we have been living from headline to headline. Since we are scheduled to fly out of Bangkok on February 6 the local rags are giving us stress. Not so much about the possible coup; more about the possible closing of the airport.
"Thai politics are very much like soi * food; there is much mystery about the ingredients."
* Soi = Street.
Though there are sharks in the water, our roofs* couldn't care less.
* Tennis on one and filming a commercial on the other.
"Hyde & Seek" is now open. This is the second restaurant to open in the Athenee Residence complex.
What are these objects and what do they mean?
And, why are these cars parked this way?
The suitcases are packed; the cars are covered. We are ready to fly: BKK-LHR-MIA.
Now ... westbound!

At British Airways First Class lounge at Bangkok.
Looking out from the BA lounge you can get a feel as to the size of this airport.

Between our two British Airways flights we relaxed in BA's Concorde Lounge at Heathrow's Terminal 5. Not only is the interior of the lounge luxurious but the open air views of the internal structures of the airport are fantastic.
