After Part III

December 24-31, 2012

Monday, December 24, 2012 (Mythmas Eve)

I like riding through this particularly old section of Bangkok; an area famed for its shops that sell religious items for the Buddhist temples. It's near BKK's main railway station; a place I have not visited since Watcharee and I took the overnight train to Surin to witness the elephant festival about 12 years ago.

Tuesday, December 25, 2012 (Mythmas Day in Bangkok)

Xmas is great here in Thailand! We have all the colored lights, parties, special dinners, drinks with friends, presents and much more. And, best of all, we don't have that creepy Christ folded in with the fun ingredients. Check out the decorations in my condo lobby, the Plaza Athenee Hotel and the Ruam Rudi mall: Christmas trees, lights, presents and holiday decorations ... and, not a single cross, manger, virgin or assortment of gawking farm animals to spoil the happy bits.

Wednesday, December 26, 2012 (Boxing Day)

Several months ago I ordered some gold images of Thailand's King. On the way to picking them up and on our return home we encountered two taxis with 'strange' messages on their backsides. Any guesses? Many months ago I pasted a similar message on my BMW Z4 ... though I only allowed it to stay on the car until I'd finished taking a photo of it.

Our condo springs a second pool.

PS: And another Okura hotel.

PPS: Hey, the whole neighborhood is reproducing.
