Starting Sunday, May 6, all Catholic Churches in Laos will offer 4 versions of the Holy Eucharist.

  1. The normal cracker which is made up of meat from all parts of Jesus's body, including the nasty bits.
  2. The vegetarian host which consists of Jesus's tears, sweat, snot, spit, mucus and ear wax.
  3. The buffet Eucharist allows the sacrament taker to choose the pieces (rib meat, cheek, tongue or any other part or combination).
  4. The same as #1 but without the nasty bits.

A fifth version containing just the nasty bits was rejected.

Another Bishop writes:

With respect to the Holy Eucharist's content: What about Our Lord's shit and piss?
