The First Corkscrew Balloon at Chateau d'Oex

(Select any thumbnail image to see a larger photo.)

Pre-Flight: Is he hogging all the pre-flight "lift-off juice"? (Thank God he is not the pilot on this flight!)
Low ... and being friendly with another balloon.
Medium ... but trying to go higher than the others.
High: About 10,000 feet, near the place in the Alps called "Ruth's Teeth."
Post-Flight: Champagne, of course! (Why is the pilot wearing a large beer on his head?)
Packed: When the balloon is all wrapped up, it ain't so big after all!
